Abstract: While we tend to think of CSR as something that is driven by company strategy, in Ecuador a different dynamic has emerged in which the company and the community are engaged in a collaborative model of social impact creation. The approach of Holcim is noteworthy because it shows the value of the co-designing and co-implementing of corporate community projects.
